High School Sweethearts…
It all started around nine years ago with some Valentine’s Day balloons. Ten days and a few words later, he asked her to be his girlfriend. She said ”sure”. Yes, she really said sure… One day last year, they hopped on the Harley to go for a picnic by the lake. On one knee with a ring in his hand he asked her to be his wife….This time she said “YES”.
She started out the day having her hair done. Then it was off to the wedding site for brunch with the bridesmaids. ”I figured the day would be chaotic, but thanks to so much help from family and friends, I didn’t have to worry about a thing!”
Advice to brides: “Brides, if you do an outside wedding, invest in a lovely umbrella that matches your style! You won’t be sorry.”
It actually POURED….
But it did clear up in time for some pictures and for the ceremony….
The ceremony and reception was held in the back yard of the bride’s great aunt and uncle’s home. “I wanted to get married outside, under oak trees. This was the perfect spot!”
“Despite the rain and the train, the ceremony was perfect!”
Advice to brides: “Don’t wait until the last minute. There are so many details that go into a wedding. Start the planning process early. You will be glad you did!”
